I’ve written and erased several paragraphs about Lucille Ball today. Cant seem to put my thoughts into words. So I’m going to simply say I love Lucille Ball. She has brought light and laughter into my life. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont wish I could meet her. When I watch episodes of I Love Lucy, my heart breaks. I’ve heard of what she was going through at the time. To still come to work and put on a spot on performance shows great bravery. I have great respect for her. We miss you!

Dear Lucy, I don’t even know how to start talking about how much I love you and how important you’re to me!. You’re not only an actress whom I have great admiration, your meaning to me goes beyond that. Every time I see your little face in the movies, tv, in pictures, or read something written or spoken by you or any little thing that you’re related, no matter how sad or bad I am, I feel better again :D. For Lucy and readers: As I write this, half of me write as if she was still alive and the other half wrote as if she were dead. Partially, this is because it’s true. In the real world, Lucy is dead, but in my world, she’s alive as ever. As Lucie put it: “Lucy will always be alive in our hearts.” There could never be ‘just THE letter’ that best describes how I feel about Lucy and what exactly I would tell her, & I don’t have to try. All I have to say is I love Lucille Desiree Ball Arnaz Morton!!
